Description
This workshop is designed especially for beginners. You’ll learn the basic techniques of working with clay and receive guidance on creating durable ceramic pieces. We’ll cover safe working methods, the fundamentals of using ceramic colors and ready-made glazes, as well as the basics of kiln operation—how to load and unload it properly. This is a compact and informative session packed with knowledge and hands-on guidance for ceramic work. During the workshop, participants will create small clay animals using ExtremeRaku clay. The pieces will be fired and finished on Sunday morning.
This workshop is perfect for those with little or no prior experience, but also provides valuable tips and insights for more experienced ceramicists and art educators. Finished pieces can be collected from Peurunka after 12 PM on Sunday.
