In nerve pathway massage, specific pathways in the body are treated — these do not always follow the actual routes of the nerves. In addition to nerves, the treatment pathways are located along acupuncture meridians, fascia, connective tissue and trigger point areas, as well as periosteum (the membrane covering the bones). The focus is especially on the so-called deep nerve pathways, from which the surface nerves branch out.

Nerve pathway massage is highly suitable for relieving chronic pain and ache conditions, such as sciatica, tennis elbow, and various shoulder pains.
The treatment is intensive and may sometimes be performed close to the pain threshold. It is an extremely effective complement or alternative to classical massage.
During the session, in addition to nerve pathway massage, I also use classical massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and, when needed, dry cupping with suction cups.

HOW IS THE TREATMENT PERFORMED?
Reflexology foot massage is a soothing treatment where the reflex points on the soles of the feet are pressed and massaged using various techniques. The goal is to balance the body’s natural functions and stimulate its own healing mechanisms.
Some points or areas may feel tender or slightly painful during the treatment.
Reflexology has both preventive and well-being–enhancing effects by relaxing the nerves and supporting the body’s detoxification. Its primary mechanism affects the nervous system, but it also improves blood and lymph circulation as well as overall metabolism.
The treatment may help with stress and restlessness, insomnia, various aches and pains, and digestive issues.
WHEN IS THE TREATMENT NOT RECOMMENDED?
Reflexology is not suitable for everyone. Contraindications include cancer, heart conditions, severe mental health disorders, serious infectious or doctor-treated illnesses, organ transplants, recent surgeries, stroke or heart operations, and pregnancy under 12 weeks.
